After 4 years of vocal lessons with you (and feeling like we've become family), we thought it finally time to tell you how much you mean to us, and to our daughter.
My husband and I first saw you on stage in Valley's Got Talent, and were taken with your confidence, composure, and ability. After winning the grand prize, we came up to congratulate you (though we were nervous, your credits are impressive!) We were both immediately surprised and delighted with your charm, humble nature, kind heart, silliness, and generosity. We went home buzzing with excitement that night, and as we crawled into bed - we both agreed: "SHE is who we want our daughter to be. She is who our daughter DESERVES to be." Neither one of us had ever been so encouraged or inspired by a potential role model for our little girl.
When we first contacted you about lessons, our daughter couldn't even look us in the eye at the dinner table. She wasn't warm, or friendly, or confident. We had always allowed her to be her own person, but had become concerned over the last few years that we had made a mistake by not encouraging her to be more open and happy. We had tried many different programs, counselors, and classes. None of them had helped. Every time she returned more intimidated, more scared, and more soft spoken. Our wits end was drawing close, and our broken hearts weren't mending.
After less than a month of lessons with you she wanted to audition for her school talent show. After a few months, she was writing plays of her own. After a year of lessons, she WON her school's talent show. And now, after 4 years under your tutelage, we have watched our daughter completely transform, right before our eyes. From a shy, timid girl who couldn't even speak to her parents, to a strong, confident, smiling, charismatic, emotionally mature, focused, and driven woman, who has a thousand things she wants to accomplish when she graduates high school, and who is chomping at the bit for her chance to tackle the world.

FAQ: - best suited for professional performers, or those looking to enter the professional musical theatre/music industry - 1 hour lesson per week, 4 (sometimes 5) lessons monthly - $50 per hour - $200 per month (for 4 lessons, discounted $230 for 5 lesson months), paid at the 1st lesson each month - Ages 18 and older (if you are younger and already working in the industry - we can talk!) You provide: - clear personal/professional goals - recording device - pencils - music/script- (you can bring your own, or request something from my library) - lesson notebook - sunny disposition |
Price also includes: - full access to my extensive music library - recordings of warmups and songs - binder of music - participation in yearly recital with a full band - audition notifications, coaching/preparation - audition book - features on my professional instagram, if permitted by guardians (point being: confidence building, performance practice, exposure to potential jobs/gigs. my instagram is not a popularity contest - i post there solely to encourage, challenge, and grow). - performance opportunities with myself and other professional musicians/companies ** SPECIAL NOTE ** lesson lengths and amounts are negotiable, meaning: if you're coming through town and just want one 2 hour lesson - we can arrange that (see below). or if you want regular, weekly 1 hour lessons but have a special performance coming up and want to book 6 weeks of 80 minute lessons and then go back to 1 hour - we can arrange that, etc. please ask for what would work best for you and we'll figure it out! |

Price includes: Whether you're looking for - tips for an audition - needing to learn how to use a microphone whilst connecting with your audience - figuring out motivation for emotion within a song/piece - advice and a critical ear for an upcoming performance - someone to give you notes and guidance on several songs - OR - - someone to help you make an audition video (playing the piano as you sing, advice about songs, style, etc.) - someone to teach you and/or record several songs for you in one day |
