​i'm a composer, performer,
​and musical director in california.
i used to run my own theatre company called "shelly bort presents". it was AWESOME :D over the course of 13 years, over 400 kids and adults were involved in our original productions! (and yes, i counted every single one of them to quote that fact!)

​we don't do full scale shows anymore, but shelly bort presents lives on! under my business name - i work as a composer, studio singer, arranger, orchestrator, musical director, and vocal coach. 
ON YOUR RADIO AND TELEVISION!
it is possible you are hearing me sing regularly and you have no clue! i do a lot of studio work, and for the past 15 years - i have been singing and playing keyboards on many central valley radio and tv commercials :D

i also work as a backup singer and arranger, so i spend about 30% of my time traveling around from studio to studio, working with amazing people, 30% of my time at home alone in a dark room with my computer, dreaming up ways to make OTHER people's music better, and 40% of my time traveling and singing live - more on that below!
