i have been training for 4 measley days.
and im so exalted and bruised and battered- today i literally fell asleep on my face,
whilst talking on the phone...
and i slept for 2 hours... on my phone... on my face... sorry auntie :/
here's why...
then saturday is a free skate, and sunday i take off as well as wednesday. each work out clocks in around an hour 15-20.
it's tough. i feel exhausted and totally bodily broken... that "awesome" strong feeling hasn't kicked in yet ;)
but im sure it will! i have NEVER had a work out schedule. when i did SBP we had a regular class schedule so i guess that counted, but outside of class, i didn't work out at ALL. 4 dance classes a day and 4 hours of choreography at night was enough ;) this is going to take a LOT of getting used to. i only wish i wasn't leaving for 12 days now! because that's going to put such a damper on my training and my body will hate me EVEN MORE than it does right now when i get back!! oh well. worth it :)
what's your work out schedule?
<3
you guys love roller derby! and you love the idea of me doing it!
i have to admit- its pretty hysterical. i thought i would be too old,
but the more research i did on it, the more i found out that there are women who don't even START til they're 40,
and there are women who are 59 in leagues across america! that is SO inspiring to me...
i just sit here shaking my head thinking about how amazing those women must be.
i want to be one of them :)
so here's what inspires me to get up and get out.
1. "billie jean" - michael jackson
2. "that's not my name" - the ting tings
3. "try it again" - the hives
4. "everybody wants you" - billy squier
5. "are you gonna be my girl?" - jet
6. "goody two shoes" - adam ant
7. "filthy/gorgeous" - scissor sisters
8. "let's go crazy" - prince
9. "the scratch" - 7 year bitch
10. "pot kettle black" - tilly & the wall
