today, ive been reflecting on some of my favorite websites and why i visit them so much.
i thought i'd share a little piece of my day... tomorrow i will be doing the hourly picture break down that's been going around. can't wait for that :) (ps- as im writing this, im "watching" (read LISTENING TO) shark night 3D and just the music has my stomach shaking. this is going to be horribly amazing. plus, katherine mcphee is in it. girl she better sing her way out of a shark attack! update: she doesn't.)

ENDLESS inspiration. ENDLESS beauty. i must visit this website 15 times a day just to check to see if she's blogged something new :) i love love love elsie, as does everyone :) <3
this is a designers dream. i don't consider myself a designer (obviously) but i am definitely someone who makes a lot of stuff on their computer every day ;) and their new, fun, and funky fonts really bring posts that would be totally boring otherwise- to life. i click through the pages for updates at least twice a week.
this absolutely amazing website gives free food and care to millions of pets JUST FROM YOU CLICKING THAT PURPLE BUTTON. i click it at least 5 times a day while i'm working... just whenever i remember to go back... and i have an alarm on my phone every saturday and sunday to remind me to go online and click it on the weekends :)
talk about best friends... i have met so many cool people on ebay whilst searching for my boat. i check this daily. DAILY.
flipping through etsy pages provides tons of inspiration and happiness. if you open an account, it keeps tracks of the products you look at, and then it builds lists of things it thinks you will like. that actually sounded creepy. BUT. etsy is not creepy. well, some of the models are ;) but for the most part, its just a lot of fun. another place i've met some really cool people.
OKAY. we've come to one of my all time favorite web pages. twitter.com/fireland. fireland was the first person i subscribed to on twitter when it first started 1500 years ago. DAILY laughs... DAILY hysterics... i can't tell you how many times i've read his page all the way to the bottom. that's a lot of reading.
OHHHHHHHHKAY. we've come to my ALL TIME favorite web page. getmortified.com is HILARIOUS. it takes real people, and puts them back into their previous lives. they read journal entires from when they were kids, or stories they wrote, or ANYTHING that would embarrass them... plays they wrote, poetry they penned... and they produce it FULL SCALE. its HYSTERICAL. i can't even describe how much fun this project is. i had the chance to see tom lenk's night at mortified and i FORGOT TO GO. thats embarrassing enough. BUT. really. this site is just too much. CHECK IT.
this one's easy. any movie. any time. get it.
my favorite website to promote. and let me tell you- their chocolate is expensive. REALLY expensive. and worth EVERY. CENT. they are keeping traditions alive, and that is truly priceless. i just love these guys.
